Breathe in Me

Wakan Tanka, Great Mystery, Teach me how to trust My heart, My mind, My intuition, My inner knowing, The senses of my body, The blessings of my Spirit. Teach me to trust these things so that I may enter my Sacred Space And Love beyond my fear, And thus Walk in Balance With the passing of each glorious Sun.

Lakota Prayer

The space inside you is as infinite as the space outside you.  Just as we need to be spend time getting out, we also need to spend time going in.

Today is a day to enjoy some inner peace and quiet. Take 10 minutes, that’s all. You’ve got that; to sit, and breathe. No music, no guided meditation, just you and your breath.  If you can be in nature without your phone or people around, that certainly is valuable, provided you can observe quiet; no dogs, no conversation.  And if you are sitting in meditation, put your phone on silent and set the timer for 10 minutes. Close your eyes, if that is comfortable for you.

Your breath is a conduit, an anchor, a gift of life.  Spend some time alone with it today.

“Be still, and know that I am God.”  (Psalm 46:10)
